MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR MAVIS BRANSTON – LIVE STREAM – 1:00 P.M. THURSDAY, APRIL 8, 2021

REGISTER FOR A SEATTEMPORARILY CANCELLED

After much debate, church Council has elected to pause our in-person worship services for at least the next two weeks due to the surging Covid cases in the Edmonton area. We will be recording services in the sanctuary and releasing those recordings to our YouTube channel each Sunday morning.  We have been well under the capacity we are permitted even by the Government restrictions announced yesterday and we remain confident in our safety protocols, but we feel this decision is in the best interests of the safety of our community. We will be posting links to our virtual worship services and we are hopeful that we may be able to worship in person again by Christmas Eve.  We thank you for your understanding and we ask that you stay tuned for more announcements.

Good Friday and Easter Monday services will be live streamed so you can just click on the link above.

Pastoral Care Support for SAUC members and adherents who are self isolating:

  1. Please contact our office administrator at office@stalbertunited.ca  members to (a) request help in getting supplies while in isolation and (b) to volunteer to pick up and deliver those supplies. Laurie will coordinate these lists and make the connections between those in need of support and the volunteer helpers.
  2. A “phone tree” has been set up by Church Council with members phoning our SAUC family of members and adherents to check in as a pastoral concern and to pass along important communications from the church community. Please, know you can call your “phoner” if you have concerns that the church community might be able to address or just to have a chat for your personal well being. The “phoners” will let the ministry staff know if you would like a personal contact from one of them. If you are a member or adherent of St Albert United Church and have not received a phone call, please email our office administrator at office@stalbertunited.ca and she will pass your contact info on to those coordinating the phone tree.
