Community Refugee Committee of St. Albert Serving St. Edmonton and Area
The Community Refugee Committee of St. Albert Serving Edmonton and Area (CRCSA) has been hard at work under the leadership of Judy Evans of St. Albert together with a hardworking team of volunteers from St. Albert and Edmonton. This has been an unusual year of reflection for all of us, and the CRCSA is no exception. This long period of reflection has resulted in a commitment to sponsor two more Syrian refugee families who have already been approved and are awaiting final background checks before their itineraries and arrival dates are confirmed. We are extremely grateful for the financial and moral support of the Council of St. Albert United Church, the Sponsorship Agreement Holder! Individual donations may be sent by cheque to Roy Thorpe at 78 Fawcett Cres St. Albert T8N 1W3 or by e-transfer to crcsarefugee@gmail.com. For further information: Judy Evans ((587) 599-5176) or Marian Oberg ((780) 459-4764).
